“Lean liberty is better than the flat slavery”. we gain freedom when we have paid the full price for our right to live. The day is celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country.
The day was celebrated in our school with great eclat. The programme began at 9:30. The worthy Principal has hoisted the National Flag. Our school choir sang the National Anthem. Then there were some very inspiring National songs sung in chorus. These were followed by stirring speech by our worthy Principal and has distributed sweets to all gathering students. Video clippings about how to respect ‘National Anthem’ and many suffering children around us were shown to children. Through this they have understood “Man is made great or small by his own will”. In fact it is a day of rejoicing and valuable. May we continue celebrating this day for ever.
