In the CTSC Athletic Meet 2013-14 held at Cherupushpa Bethany Senior Secondary School, Chunakkara, Mavelikkara on 04/01/2014, Amrita Vidyalayam Pathanamthitta opened the account by the stunning performance of the young athletes. In Under 19 Girls Section Shot Put, Akhila Sujai of Std IX outlasted her opponents. Akhila emerged victorious with her stunning performance and won Gold medal and certificate.
The girls of AV Pathanamthitta proved their might compared to the boys.Veena Lekshmi of Std X stamped her authority in 200m race, in Under 19 Girls Section. She clinched the title by her thrilling performance in 200m race. Veena received Gold medal and certificate.
In the Under 16,4*100m relay (Girls), our girls registered their best performance and reached the IInd position. In the tight competition they shocked their opponents and emerged victorious.The members of the 4*100m relay include Devi Thejomayi of Std X, Veena Vijayan of Std IX, Megha S of Std X and Greeshma R Nair of Std X. They received Silver Medal and Certificates.
In the Under 19 Boys Section, Vishnu Rajendran of Std XII bagged IIIrd position in 100m race. Vishnu had performed well amidst competition from other strong opponents.
