Madhav S Namboothiri of class IV of Amrita Vidyalayam,Pathanamthitta taken a resplendent step in the field of Kathakali, by getting a seat in Kalamandalam Adoor. He has been playing the part of Krishna and Rukmini on various stages. He has proclaimed this step after an examination and interview with Kalamandalam.
This April, Madhav performed Krishna Vesham in Kattoor temple during the temple festival, which is a platform held only by renowned Kathakali artist from the older generations. Madhav has been a Amrita student for LKG onwards.
