Various activities were conducted at our school to commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of Dr. Srinivasa Aiyangar Ramanujan. Students of primary classes played a game based on shapes such as circles and different polygons with the help of instructions given by their teachers. They also participated in a mathematics relay race. A quiz competition was also conducted for them.
A student of Standard VI delivered a speech on the importance of mathematics in our daily lives. A quiz competition was conducted for them. Also, students of standards VI and VIII participated in various activities like mathematical games (Sudoku), solving puzzles, creating magic squares, etc. The students of Standard XI conducted a quiz competition for students of standards VIII and IX.
All these activities helped the students to develop a positive attitude towards mathematics and improve their knowledge.
