International Yoga Day observed on June 21st, serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing this ancient discipline to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Yoga improves strength, balance, and flexibility. Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles.
Shri Jayadeva Kurup inaugurated the International Day of Yoga celebration at our school on 21st June. He is a Faculty of Diving Art, and a member of Yogasana Sports Association & Indian Yoga Association. Students from classes I to X participated in yoga. Amrita Yoga was demonstrated by Keerthana M.S. of Class X, Aradhana H. Nair of Class IV, and Jeevan and Akshaj from Class XII.
