India celebrates Independence Day on August 15th every year. We got freedom from British rule on August 15, 1947. On this day, we honour the sacrifice of our freedom fighters. The whole nation celebrates independence by hoisting the national flag. The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at our school. The national flag was hoisted by our Principal. Organizing a flag hoisting activity in schools fosters respect for the nation in students. The national anthem and patriotic song were sung after the flag hoisting. A rally was conducted from the main block to the primary block. All the students celebrated Independence Day with a lot of joy. Principal concluded the celebrations with sweet distribution.
