On July 30, 2024, a series of devastating landslides struck the villages of Punjirimattom, Mundakkai, Chooralmala, and Vellarimala in Wayanad district, Kerala. In a remarkable act of compassion, Shreya S. Nair, a Class V student, sold her earrings and donated ₹12,000 to Pathanamthitta district collector Shri. Prem Krishnan S. IAS for the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
