In observance of World Mosquito Day, a special awareness speech was delivered by our respected Vice Principal, Smt. Sumangala Haridas, during the school assembly on 21st August 2024. She emphasized the importance of understanding how mosquitoes spread diseases like malaria, dengue, and Zika, and discussed various preventive measures such as using mosquito nets, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and eliminating stagnant water where mosquitoes breed. The speech underscored the role everyone plays in controlling mosquito populations and safeguarding their health. Students from KG to Class XII took a pledge on this day to contribute to mosquito control efforts.
