“A teacher is a light that never goes out.”
Teachers’ Day is a significant occasion celebrated annually on the 5th of September in honour of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary. This year we celebrated the day with great enthusiasm and respect for our educators.
The celebration began with students welcoming teachers by offering aarathi, symbolizing their gratitude for the dedication and hard work of their mentors. During the morning assembly, Akshara D of Class VIII delivered a heartfelt speech, emphasizing the invaluable role teachers play in shaping young minds.
In the afternoon, each teacher was presented with a rose as a token of appreciation. The students organized various performances and activities, including dances, games, and musical presentations, all expressing their admiration for the teachers. The day was filled with joy, and both students and teachers shared memorable moments together.
