Onam celebrates the legacy of equality, unity, and prosperity. The festival is dedicated to King Mahabali, who sacrificed himself and his kingdom to honour his promise. On September 13, the festivities began with the creation of a beautiful floral decoration (pookalam) in the prayer room. The character portrayal of Mahabali’s arrival, alongside Vamana, was warmly received by the staff and children. Pre-KG and KG children participated by bringing colourful flower petals from home to create a vibrant pookalam. The day’s events included a musical chair game, group singing, Thiruvathira, Thumbi Thullal, Vanchippattu, lemon and spoon race, and a house-wise tug-of-war competition.
