Students together with the teachers celebrated “ Onam and Teacher’s Day “ on 5th of September with the fervor, pomp and show.
Students of Xth distributed sweets and flowers to their beloved teachers and received blessings. They also actively took classes for the lower grades and teachers happily obliged.
Onam celebration was yet another display of the talents inherent in the Amritians. Thiruvathira, Tumbitullal, Valla Pattu, Puli Kali, poopada and some other Onam related folk songs added colour to the festive mood.
Students dressed up as Maveli, the legendary king was the highlight of the occasion. It brought back the splendor and Glory of his colorful days.
Attapookkalam, floral carpet was another magnificent part of the celebration was a true treat to the eyes.
