Kerala, the Gods own country shows its vividness; The name Jack Fruit itself reveals its importance in every aspects like Chakka madel, Chakka Kuru, Chakka chakini, Chakka pazham, Chakka Koonju etc. In olden days Jack Fruit was used in every house hold as it was readily available and more over it is highly nutritious. As time passed its importance got reduced. But today the men folks realized its importance. As the outcome of this realization, Aranmula Heritage Trust Organized the National Jack Fruit Festival 2015 for the Promotion and use of this valuable, delicious fruit.
We Amritians strongly supported this move and our brilliant students Abhiram H Sivam of STD IX and Adwaith H Sivam of Std X came with flying colours for their active participation in the Quiz Competition held on 16th May 2015. They secured first Prize.
